How to Stake POL in cySync by Cypherock
Cypherock X1 owners can now stake POL with Everstake in the cySync app, verifying and signing every transaction on the X1 Vault.

Delegation to Everstake is non-custodial: the POL never leaves the delegator's wallet, and Everstake runs the validator but cannot move, spend or freeze delegated tokens.
Full staking details ↓
Polygon staking with Everstake means delegating POL (the token that replaced MATIC) to the Everstake validator on Polygon PoS.
Current APR: 4.72%, Everstake charges a 0% commission on Polygon. There is no minimum stake, and 1 POL is a practical starting point.
Rewards accrue with every Polygon checkpoint and can be withdrawn once they reach 2 POL.
Unstaking takes 80 checkpoints, about 2–3 days, and rewards stop as soon as unstaking begins.
POL staking executes on Ethereum mainnet rather than on the Polygon chain, so the POL must be in ERC-20 form and 0.05–0.1 ETH is needed to cover gas.

Polygon
Polygon is gaining institutional traction as a home for tokenized money market and Treasury funds from issuers like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton, backed by low fees, upgrades that ended chain reorganizations, Apex Group’s $100B T-REX Ledger commitment and the Coinme payments acquisition.

In the Polygon upgrade, MATIC was replaced 1:1 by POL, which is now the gas and staking token of Polygon PoS. The same delegation flow remains, as well as the same validator set and rewards only the ticker changed. If POL is still sitting in a wallet as MATIC, it needs to be migrated before delegating.
Since Polygon is a scaling network on top of Ethereum it submits checkpoints to record its chain state. A checkpoint is a snapshot of Polygon PoS state that validators submit to Ethereum, and it is the unit that governs staking rewards.
Rewards accrue once per checkpoint, so they build up many times a day. They do not auto-compound: received rewards sit separate from the delegated balance until they are restaked manually, so effective APR differs from a continuously compounded figure. Rewards become withdrawable once they reach 2 POL.
To model rewards for a given stake size, use the Polygon staking calculator on top of this page.
Everstake's Polygon validator runs on a 0% commission, with no minimum to delegate and an 80-checkpoint unbonding period.
Everstake operates the Polygon validator at 0x3f4ce357b9d61d3b904492b8b5abc69c6c693720 with a 0% commission. Confirm the address before delegating from any wallet that allows manual validator entry.
Non-custodial: Delegating POL to Everstake is non-custodial. The POL never leaves the delegator's wallet, and Everstake, as the validator operator, validates transactions but cannot move, spend, or freeze the staked assets.
Please review our guides on multiple wallets that support POL staking.
Or by using any other wallet that supports ERC-20 POL and WalletConnect. For more, see Everstake's Polygon guides and articles.
POL staking executes on Ethereum mainnet, not on the Polygon chain, because Polygon's staking contracts live on Ethereum. The POL must be in ERC-20 form, gas is paid in ETH, and a delegation confirms after 12 Ethereum block confirmations (about 3–5 minutes).
The delegation starts on Everstake's dashboard, and account management happens on Polygon's.
Unstaking POL takes 80 checkpoints, about 2–3 days, and rewards stop accruing the moment unstaking begins. During that window the POL is neither generating rewards nor liquid.
Unstaking is initiated in the My Account section of the Polygon Staking Dashboard, one delegation at a time. Any rewards still below the 2 POL threshold stay unclaimable.
Polygon is a proof-of-stake network designed to scale Ethereum by enabling fast transactions and low fees. It periodically records checkpoints on Ethereum to provide additional security and finality. POL secures the network and is also used to pay transaction fees.

Everstake has run non-custodial validators since 2018 with 99.98% observed uptime and zero material slashing events on Polygon, built on geographically redundant, bare-metal infrastructure with high-grade operating standards. Backed by SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification, independently audited smart contracts, and $7B+ in stake secured to date, we're built for allocators who are looking for reliable, enterprise-grade staking providers.
Everstake has custom terms available for wallets, exchanges, custodians, asset managers, treasuries and all kinds of institutions looking to stake. Delegating $1M+ in POL calls for a staking partner equipped to support institutional requirements, backed by robust validator infrastructure, operational expertise, and deep ecosystem experience.
