Everstake runs a non-custodial Solana validator: you delegate SOL, keep your keys, and Everstake can never access or move the funds.
Full staking details ↓
Current APR is 4.81%, Everstake charges a 7% fee, deducted from staking rewards, never from the delegated principal. Estimate SOL rewards through Solana staking calculator.
The minimum is 1 SOL, plus roughly 0.000005 SOL protocol fee to create the on-chain stake account.
Delegated SOL activates at the start of the next Solana epoch (2 to 3 days) and generates rewards every epoch from that point.
Unstaking runs on the same clock: deactivated SOL becomes withdrawable at the start of the following epoch.
Solana has no slashing mechanism implemented, so only validator's uptime and skip rate determine the staking rewards received by a delegator, but it might change in the future.

Everstake’s Solana staking commission is 7% of staking rewards. Delegated SOL is processed through Solana’s activation mechanism and becomes active at the beginning of the next epoch (typically 2–3 days after delegation). The only upfront protocol cost is the stake account creation fee (0.000005 SOL), which is independent of Everstake’s commission.
You can stake Solana through our custom Solana dashboard or through multiple wallets that Everstake has partnership with.

Delegating SOL does not transfer it. The SOL stays in a stake account the delegator controls with their own private keys, and Everstake only signs blocks; it can never move, withdraw or freeze delegated SOL.

Solana staking rewards are derived from protocol inflation. Issuance started at approximately 8% annually at launch and declines by about 15% each year toward a long-term floor of roughly 1.5%.
Each epoch, newly issued SOL is distributed among validators and their delegators based on active stake. As the share of circulating SOL committed to staking increases, the reward rate per staked SOL decreases.
APR is the simple annualized reward rate, while APY accounts for compounding, assuming rewards are continuously restaked over the year. Solana uses Proof of Stake for network validation and Proof of History to provide a verifiable ordering and timing mechanism for transactions.
Solana has no slashing mechanism implemented, so staked SOL is not exposed to a protocol penalty on principal, however the chain evolves and it might change. The current risks with Solana staking are exposed via performance and timing:
Everstake is non-custodial throughout: the SOL stays in a stake account the delegator controls.
For institutional staking above $500K, Everstake offers custom terms, please contact our Business Development team.
Organisations that need dedicated Solana validator infrastructure can explore our Validator-as-a-Service option. Our mission is to remove operational complexity from Solana staking, providing the infrastructure, compliance posture and visibility they need to participate with confidence.
In today's financial landscape, cryptocurrencies have undeniably become a disruptive force, and staking has become one of the most widely adopted ways to participate.
At Everstake, a staking service platform, we have developed a robust and efficient platform designed to elevate your SOL staking rewards through a straightforward and secure staking process.
At its core, staking is a process integral to the blockchain ecosystem. Participants in a proof-of-stake (PoS) network delegate their tokens—in this case, Solana (SOL)—into the network's wallet.
By delegating, stakers contribute to the network's various operations such as block validation, security, and governance
In return for staking SOL, participants not only strengthen the Solana network but also receive staking rewards.
Step 1. Go to the Everstake page on SolanaBeach explorer
Step 2. Click on Stake button
Step 3. Connect your wallet
Step 4. Start staking and generating rewards
We believe in empowering our users with tools to understand staking reward factors about their staking strategies. To this end, we've developed the Everstake Stake Calculator.
This intuitive tool lets you input the amount of SOL you intend to stake and provides an option to simulate your results. It also allows you to adjust the staking period to check how results will change.
This calculator is an invaluable asset for strategic planning, enabling you to optimize your staking approach for maximum results.
The incentive to stake comes from the rewards system embedded in the Solana network. Rewards are essentially additional SOL tokens generated by the network to motivate and incentivize user participation.
The fundamental rule of staking is simple-the more SOL you stake and the longer the duration, the higher the rewards.
Staking rewards are generally assessed through a metric called the Annual Percentage Yield (APY). APY reflects compounding: when rewards from staking are staked again, they contribute to future rewards, and APY captures that compounding effect over a year.
Security is paramount when dealing with cryptocurrencies. Everstake prioritizes the security of your assets, implementing advanced measures to ensure the safety of your staked SOL tokens.

The Everstake Stake Calculator is a tool that helps estimate your potential results from staking SOL. By inputting the amount of SOL you plan to stake and the staking duration, the calculator provides estimated results.
Staking rewards are calculated based on the amount of SOL you stake and the length of time you keep it staked. The rewards come in the form of new SOL tokens, generated by the Solana network as a way to incentivize participation.
The unstaking process can vary depending on the network's rules. For Solana, there's an unbonding period during which your tokens are held before being released. During this period, your tokens are not generating staking rewards and are not accessible for transactions. Always check the current network rules or reach out to our support team for the most accurate protocol information.
Reward frequency can vary depending on the network's protocol. With Solana, rewards are typically distributed based on each epoch (a fixed period of time in the Solana network). It's important to note that some staking platforms, including Everstake, automatically re-stake your rewards.
| Strategy | Description |
|---|---|
| Stake More | The more SOL tokens you stake, the more you contribute to network security. |
| Long-Term Staking | Staking your tokens for a longer period often leads to higher rewards due to compounding. |
| Regularly Monitor Your Staking | Use the Everstake dashboard to regularly check your staking status. Keeping an eye on your rewards and the performance of SOL will help you make informed decisions, such as adding more stake or withdrawing some of your stake. |
| You can accelerate your Results: | By staking the rewards you receive, you allow them to compound over time. |
| Stay Informed | Keep up with the latest news and updates about Solana and Everstake. Staying informed can help you adjust your staking approach as conditions change. |
